I get asked this a lot…
“Why is my child not confident?”
If you’ve ever thought that, you’re not alone.
It’s easy to look at other children and think they’re just naturally confident.
But that’s not what’s really happening.
Think about how your child learned to move.
They didn’t just wake up one day and walk.
They built it.
👉 First they crawled
👉 Then they stood
👉 Then they walked
👉 Then they ran
Confidence works the same way.
It isn’t something your child is born with.
👉 It’s something they build.

Try this simple change at home:
👉 Focus on effort, not just results
👉 Encourage your child to try, even when it feels difficult
👉 Notice and acknowledge small wins
That’s where confidence starts.
When your child experiences small wins…
Something changes.
The task feels possible.
And they begin to think:
👉 “Maybe I can do this.”
More willingness to try
Less hesitation
Better resilience
And most importantly…
👉 Small wins building real confidence
Confidence isn’t something your child either has or doesn’t have.
👉 It’s something they build.
